A man driving the wrong way on West Poplar early saturday crashed into a patrol car, badly damaging the vehicle and injuring the officer behind the wheel.
The accident occured after 2am when randy rodriguez crossed into the oncoming lane and hit the patrol car. The office sustained minor injuries, but rodriguez fled the scene and was later stopped by another officer about a half block away.
